Job Overview:

As a Homeroom Teacher at The Bloomington Academy, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that encourages students' academic, social, and emotional development. You will serve as a primary contact for students and their parents, fostering a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Planning and Delivery:
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the curriculum standards.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Integrate technology and other resources to enhance the learning experience.
• Classroom Management:
• Establish and maintain a positive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies to promote a respectful and orderly environment.
• Address behavioral issues promptly and constructively.
• Student Assessment and Support:
• Assess and monitor student progress through regular evaluations and feedback.
• Identify and support students' individual learning needs, providing additional help as necessary.
• Collaborate with specialists and other educators to support student development.
• Communication and Collaboration:
• Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress and concerns.
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to promote a cohesive learning environment.
• Record Keeping and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, including attendance, grades, and behavior reports.
• Prepare and submit required reports and documentation in a timely manner.
• Extra-Curricular Activities:
• Encourage and facilitate student participation in school activities, clubs, and events.
• Lead or assist with extra-curricular programs as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification/license.
• Proven experience as a homeroom teacher or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of child development and educational best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and tools.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
