• Classroom Management :
• Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order.
• Create a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere where students feel safe and valued.
• Promote positive behaviors and attitudes among students.
• Academic Support :
• Monitor students' academic progress and provide individualized support where necessary.
• Collaborate with subject teachers to ensure students receive appropriate interventions and support.
• Help students set and track academic goals.
• Advising and Counseling :
• Act as the main advisor for students, providing guidance on personal, social, and academic issues.
• Support students in their social and emotional development by providing counseling and referring students to specialists when necessary.
• Address concerns raised by parents, keeping them informed of their child's progress and well-being.
• Daily Routine Oversight :
• Facilitate daily homeroom sessions, including morning attendance, announcements, and reflection.
• Ensure that students are well-organized and ready for the day's academic lessons.
• Communication :
• Maintain open and frequent communication with parents/guardians regarding student performance and well-being.
• Facilitate parent-teacher meetings and conferences, as required.
• Team Collaboration :
• Work closely with other teachers, school counselors, and administration to support student growth.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and collaborative planning sessions.
• Record Keeping :
• Keep accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavior.
• Prepare and submit reports on students' progress to school administration and parents as needed.
• Behavioral Monitoring :
• Monitor student behavior and intervene when necessary to resolve conflicts, ensure safety, and promote respectful interaction among students.
• Collaborate with the school's disciplinary team to address behavior issues.
• Student Engagement :
• Organize and facilitate homeroom or grade-level activities that promote community, teamwork, and school spirit.
• Encourage student participation in extracurricular activities and school events.
• Mentorship :
• Serve as a mentor and role model for students, promoting personal responsibility, integrity, and academic excellence.

Qualifications :

• Education : Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. Teaching certification may be required based on regional regulations.
• Experience : Prior experience as a homeroom teacher or in a similar educational role is preferred.
• Skills :
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain patience, empathy, and a supportive attitude toward students.
• Proficiency in using classroom technology and learning management systems.
