Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a immediate joiner passionate and experienced Homeroom Teacher to join a reputable school in Al Ain . The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining a dynamic, academically focused, and supportive environment for their students. As a Homeroom Teacher, you will deliver lessons across various subjects, monitor student progress, and support the academic, social, and emotional development of your class. You will work closely with parents, school staff, and administrators to ensure each student's overall well-being and success.
Key Responsibilities:
Classroom Management:
• Create a Positive Learning Environment:
• Cultivate a classroom culture where students feel safe, respected, and motivated to learn, fostering a supportive and productive atmosphere.
• Behavior Management:
Set clear behavior expectations, maintain consistent routines, and use effective discipline strategies. Address classroom issues fairly and promptly to ensure a focused learning environment.
• Student Supervision:
Oversee students during class, breaks, lunch, and school events, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Instruction and Curriculum Delivery:
• Lesson Planning and Implementation:
• Design, plan, and deliver engaging lessons that align with the school's curriculum across subjects like math, science, language arts, and social studies.
• Differentiated Instruction:
Adapt teaching methods to meet the varied needs of students, including those with special educational needs or different learning abilities.
• Assessment and Evaluation:
Use both formative and summative assessments to track student progress. Offer constructive feedback and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
Incorporate digital tools and educational technology into lessons to enhance learning and engagement.
Student Development and Support:
• Technology Integration:
• Academic Support:
• Identify students who may need additional support, provide assistance, and collaborate with support staff to address academic challenges.
• Social-Emotional Learning (SEL):
Encourage positive relationships, self-regulation, empathy, and conflict resolution among students to help them grow socially and emotionally.
• Track Progress:
Document and monitor individual student progress in academics and behavior, providing regular updates to parents and adjusting instructional approaches as needed.
Communication and Collaboration:
• Parent Communication:
• Maintain open, transparent communication with parents/guardians, keeping them informed about their child's academic and behavioral development. Participate in regular parent-teacher conferences.
• Collaboration with Staff:
Work closely with colleagues to ensure a consistent, holistic approach to teaching and student support. Attend team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
• Documentation and Reporting:
Keep accurate records of student attendance, grades, behavior, and any incidents. Submit necessary reports to school administration on time.
School Activities and Extra-Curricular Involvement:
• Engage in School Events:
• Participate in school functions, extracurricular activities, field trips, and other events that support student development.
• Student Supervision:
Oversee students during non-classroom activities such as assemblies, recess, and field trips to ensure their safety.

• Stay current with the latest teaching methods, educational trends, and subject knowledge by engaging in professional development activities.
• Collaborative Learning:
Participate in workshops, staff meetings, and collaborative projects aimed at enhancing teaching practices and overall school performance. Skills and Qualifications:
• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification recognized by the UAE (ADEK-approved).
• Experience:
• Proven experience as a homeroom teacher or classroom teacher, preferably in elementary or middle school.
• Strong knowledge of the UAE curriculum and relevant teaching methodologies.
• Classroom Management:
• Ability to effectively manage classroom behavior, create an engaging atmosphere, and address issues promptly.
• Communication:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Adaptability:
• Ability to adapt to the diverse learning needs of students and respond effectively to changing classroom dynamics.
• Technology Proficiency:
• Comfortable using educational technology, including learning management systems, digital tools, and communication platforms.
• Organizational Skills:
• Strong organizational abilities for managing lesson plans, grading, student records, and materials.
• Empathy and Patience:
• A nurturing, patient approach to working with children, providing emotional support and academic encouragement as needed.
Working Conditions:
• Work Hours:
• Full-time, Monday to Friday, from [e.g., 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM], with occasional evening work for parent-teacher conferences or school events.

• Primarily classroom-based, with occasional outdoor supervision during breaks and field trips.
