Job Title: Home Care Nurse - DOH Licensed

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Job Type: Full-Time

About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Home Care Nurse who is DOH licensed to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role involves providing direct patient care in a home setting, including patient assessments, care plan development, and delivering a variety of nursing interventions. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care and experience in managing diverse healthcare needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients upon referral and determine nursing intervention needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
• Perform nursing interventions such as feeding, diaper changing, skin and oral care, medication administration, wound care, and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, medication administration, and overall health status.
• Report and document any changes in patient status and respond to emergencies promptly.
• Collaborate with GPs, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals involved in patient care.
• Manage medical equipment and supplies, ensuring timely replenishment and proper usage.
• Assist with hospital admissions and check-ups at healthcare centers.
• Ensure patient safety and maintain accurate, error-free documentation.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on infection control and health promotion.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and respect patient rights.
• Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations including DOH, HAAD, DAMAN, and labor standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Valid DOH License.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a related field.
• Valid BLS Certification.
• Strong understanding of home care regulations and best practices.
