Job Description
We are inviting appliacations from qualified and experienced candidates, for the opening of HOD Humanities for our reputed British Curriculum school, located at Dubai.

:
- To lead, manage and develop the provision of the Subject teaching and learning within the school and to ensure appropriate monitoring, analysis and evaluation.
- To lead the department\'s strategic and operational development.
- To raise standards of pupil attainment and achievement within the whole curriculum area and to monitor and support pupil progress.
- To be accountable for pupil progress and development within the subject area. To develop and enhance the teaching practices of teachers.
- To ensure the provision of an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for pupils.
- Providing opportunities of enrichment for gifted & talented and students with special needs.
- Experience in Strategic Planning & actively contribute towards SEF, SIP.
- Experience teaching Humanities in IGCSE/ AS/A levels.
- Conducting professional development trainings.
- Ensuring continued innovation in the teaching of Humanities.
- To manage and deploy teaching/support staff, and physical resources within the department effectively to support the department development plan.
- M.A, B.Ed/Ph.D. in Humanities, certificate should be attested from UAE.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as English Teacher in UAE.
- Experience as Humanities HOD is highly preferred.
- Understanding of KHDA school inspection framework.
- Good leadership skills.
