As a History/Geography Teacher at Diyar Schools, you will play a vital role in inspiring curiosity and fostering a love for history/geography among students. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, facilitating hands-on activities, and nurturing geographical and historical inquiry skills. Key Responsibilities:

As a History/Geography Teacher at Diyar Schools, you will play a vital role in inspiring curiosity and fostering a love for history/geography among students. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, facilitating hands-on activities, and nurturing geographical and historical inquiry skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Quality of Learning: Plan and execute dynamic history/geography lessons that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Utilize assessment data to tailor instruction and monitor student progress.
- Conditions for Learning: Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore and question historical and geographical concepts. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall history/geography curriculum.
- Developing Learning: Provide constructive feedback to students and encourage them to take ownership of their learning. Foster a growth mindset and celebrate historical and geographical discoveries and achievements.
- Evaluating Learning: Implement various assessment methods to evaluate student understanding and mastery of historical and geographical concepts. Use assessment data to inform instructional decisions and support student growth.
- Professional Development: Stay current with advancements in history/geography education and instructional best practices. Participate in professional development opportunities and collaborate with colleagues to share ideas and resources.

- Qualified Teacher Status or Certification in respective country
- MOE Approval
- Degree in History/Geography or related field, with relevant Postgraduate qualification preferred
- Strong understanding of historical and geographical principles and inquiry-based learning
- Proven ability to engage and inspire students in the study of history/geography
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
