Job Title: Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

Location: Sharjah

Salary Range: 2500 AED per month

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy vehicles to ensure they operate efficiently and safely. This role requires expertise in troubleshooting, performing routine maintenance, and repairing a wide range of mechanical issues related to heavy vehicles. The company provides the visa for successful candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on heavy vehicles such as trucks, buses, and other large commercial vehicles.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake checks, and fluid inspections.
• Inspect vehicles for wear and tear, identify issues, and recommend necessary repairs or part replacements.
• Conduct troubleshooting of engine, transmission, brake, and suspension systems.
• Ensure all repairs and maintenance are performed according to safety and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of services and repairs done on each vehicle.
• Order and install necessary parts and components for vehicle repairs.
• Ensure that tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
• Work closely with the team to manage the overall condition and maintenance schedule of the vehicle fleet.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior mechanics or apprentices, if required.
• Follow company policies and health & safety regulations at all times.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, with strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Relevant vocational qualifications or certifications in vehicle mechanics or automotive technology.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot various vehicle systems and mechanical issues.
• Strong knowledge of heavy vehicle parts, tools, and equipment.
• Good communication skills in English and Hindi (Arabic is a plus).
• Physical ability to lift heavy parts and tools and work in a demanding environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A valid UAE driving license is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks effectively.
