Heavy Truck Driver
Job Description
:
The Heavy Truck/Trailer Driver is responsible for safely transporting heavy construction materials, equipment, and machinery to and from construction sites. The driver ensures that materials are delivered on time, follows traffic laws, and maintains the truck in excellent working condition to support the smooth operations of construction projects.
Requirements:
• Valid UAE heavy truck driver's license (Category 4/5) and any other required certifications for driving heavy vehicles.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience driving heavy trucks/trailers, preferably within the construction sector.
• In-depth understanding of truck/trailer operations, weight distribution, and load securing.
• Knowledge of UAE road and traffic regulations, especially related to transporting heavy loads.
• Ability to navigate using GPS and plan efficient routes.
• Physical fitness for loading/unloading assistance and long driving hours.
• Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting and vehicle maintenance.
