Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Tower Crane Operator Mechanic to join our team in the vibrant construction industry of the United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of one year of experience specifically within the UAE. As a Tower Crane Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in our construction projects, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of tower cranes to facilitate the movement of materials and equipment on site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation and Dismantling :
• Assemble and disassemble tower cranes on construction sites, following manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols.
• Ensure the crane is correctly positioned and anchored to support safe operations.
• Maintenance :
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on tower cranes, including lubricating parts, checking hydraulics, and inspecting mechanical components.
• Conduct inspections of the crane's structural integrity, mechanical systems, and safety features.
• Replace or repair worn-out parts such as cables, pulleys, gears, or motors.
• Repairs :
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues with tower cranes.
• Replace defective components such as control systems, electrical wiring, or hydraulic pumps.
• Perform welding, grinding, or other fabrication tasks to repair crane structures.
• Safety Compliance :
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols when working on cranes.
• Ensure that the crane meets all local and international safety standards and regulations.
• Conduct safety checks to ensure crane stability and operational safety.
• Provide guidance to other workers on safe crane operation and maintenance.
• Documentation and Reporting :
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks performed on the crane.
• Report any issues or potential hazards to site management promptly.
• Training and Support :
• Assist in the training of crane operators on safe operating practices and maintenance basics.
• Provide technical support to operators, supervisors, and other mechanics when needed.

Preferred qualifications

Minimum 2-3 years of experience working as a Tower Crane mechanic within in UAE, or any GCC countries.

Preferably High school degree or any related professional qualification in a similar field.
