Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repair on wheel loaders, excavators, and bulldozers.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and fuel system issues.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and parts used.
• Work closely with operators and other staff to assess equipment issues and ensure equipment uptime.
• Assist with ordering and maintaining inventory of spare parts.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies at all times.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, specifically with wheel loaders, excavators, and bulldozers.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals and repair documentation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
• Relevant certifications or technical training in heavy equipment mechanics preferred.
