for Heavy Duty Auto Mechanic

• Engine Repairs and Maintenance:
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in both diesel and petrol engines, including performance issues, power loss, fuel systems, and exhaust systems.
• Perform engine rebuilds, overhauls, and replacements when necessary.
• Maintain and repair various engine components such as fuel injectors, turbos, starters, alternators, belts, and hoses.
• Hydraulic System Maintenance and Repair:
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems used in vehicles, machinery, and other equipment.
• Inspect and maintain hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, and hoses.
• Perform hydraulic fluid changes, pressure testing, and troubleshoot hydraulic leaks or failures.
• Vehicle & System Diagnostics:
• Conduct test drives to verify engine and hydraulic system performance after repairs.
• Routine Maintenance:
• Conduct regular maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
• Perform scheduled services on petrol and diesel engines to ensure longevity and efficiency.
• Record Keeping and Compliance:
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all service work, including labor hours, parts used, and any additional notes.
• General Maintenance of Workshop:
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist with the upkeep of garage tools, equipment, and machinery.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, Petrol Mechanic, and Hydraulic Mechanic (2 years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of both diesel and petrol engine systems, components, and maintenance.
• Expertise in diagnosing and repairing hydraulic systems, including pumps, cylinders, and valves.
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools effectively.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, repair guidelines, and wiring schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent communication skills with customers and team members.
• Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy components and machinery.
• Valid driver's license (commercial driver's license preferred).

Preferred Skills:

• Certification from a recognized diesel, petrol, or hydraulic mechanic training program.
• Experience with specific brands or models of vehicles or equipment (e.g., Cummins, Nissan, Toyota, Caterpillar).
• Familiarity with computer diagnostics and advanced vehicle diagnostic systems.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
