Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Bus Driver to handle the safe and timely transportation of hotel staff between their accommodations and the hotel premises. The ideal candidate will have a valid license for large vehicles (e.g., heavy bus) and a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and efficient route management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport hotel staff between designated accommodation locations and the hotel according to the set schedule.
• Ensure all staff are picked up and dropped off promptly, maintaining timeliness and reliability.
• Operate the bus in a safe, courteous, and responsible manner, adhering to all local traffic laws and hotel policies.
• Perform daily inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, including checking fuel, oil, tires, and lights.
• Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the supervisor immediately.
• Follow established routes and schedules provided by the hotel, ensuring efficient and timely service.
• Adjust routes as necessary due to traffic, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances while communicating changes to the supervisor.
• Maintain a professional and respectful attitude towards all staff members during transportation.
• Communicate effectively with the hotel's HR or transport coordinator regarding any issues, delays, or concerns.
• Ensure all required documents, such as licenses, permits, and trip logs, are updated and maintained as per legal and hotel policies.
• Keep records of fuel usage, mileage, and any incidents that occur during transit.
• Licensing: Must possess a valid UAE heavy vehicle/bus driving license
• Experience: Minimum [2] years of experience as a bus driver, preferably in staff transport or similar roles.
• Strong knowledge of local roads, traffic regulations, and alternate routes.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Basic mechanical knowledge is an advantage.
