Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the configuration and implementation of SAP IS-H modules in line with hospital requirements, ensuring seamless integration with existing Hospital Information Systems (HIS).
• Support IS-H functionalities to manage patient administration, billing, scheduling, and clinical workflows.
Process Mapping and Optimization:
• Analyze hospital processes and map them to SAP IS-H modules to optimize patient care and administrative workflows.
• Work closely with healthcare stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and configure system to streamline admissions, discharges, transfers, and appointment scheduling.
End-User Training and Support:
• Provide training sessions and create user documentation for clinical and administrative staff on SAP IS-H functionality.
• Act as a point of contact for troubleshooting issues, ensuring that staff can effectively use SAP for day-to-day operations.
Patient Management and Billing Configuration:
• Set up patient administration processes within SAP IS-H, including patient registration, movement tracking, and discharge.
• Configure and maintain billing processes, including insurance claims processing, invoicing, and payment tracking.
Data Integration and Interfacing:
• Manage data integration with other healthcare applications like Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), Electronic Medical Records (EMR), and Radiology Information Systems (RIS).
• Ensure that patient information is accurately transferred between systems for streamlined care delivery.
Compliance and Data Security:
• Configure System to comply with healthcare regulations, such as HIPAA or GDPR, ensuring patient data privacy and security.
• Perform regular system audits to identify potential security issues and maintain data integrity.
System Maintenance and Upgrades:
• Coordinate regular with SAP Team and technical teams to Test and deploy new functionalities, modules, or updates, ensuring minimal disruption to hospital operations.
Reporting and Data Analytics:
• Generate and customize reports using SAP's reporting tools for hospital administration, finance, and patient care analysis.
• Support healthcare staff in leveraging data insights for decision-making, including resource allocation and quality of care improvements.
Project Management:
• Lead or support project planning for SAP IS-H initiatives, managing timelines, resources, and stakeholder communication.
• Coordinate with other teams to ensure successful delivery and integration of SAP functionalities with minimal disruption.
Continuous Improvement and Troubleshooting:
• Stay updated with the latest system releases, enhancements, and industry best practices.
• Proactively troubleshoot and resolve system issues, documenting solutions and updating support protocols for future reference.
These responsibilities help ensure HIS contributes effectively to healthcare operations, improving patient care, financial management, and regulatory compliance.
