HSE Engineer Approved by ADNOC

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Engineer to join our team for a prominent Petroleum project in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate with a proven track record in the oil and gas industry, holding relevant qualifications in the field.

Responsibilities:

Implement HSE Policies: Ensure the effective implementation of health, safety, and environment policies in compliance with local regulations and international standards.

Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments for various project activities, and develop strategies to mitigate identified risks.

Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into incidents, accidents, and near misses, providing detailed reports and recommendations for preventive measures.

Training and Awareness: Conduct HSE training programs for project personnel, fostering a culture of safety awareness and adherence.

Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of changes in HSE regulations and standards, ensuring the project's continuous compliance.

Emergency Response: Develop and maintain emergency response plans, conduct drills, and ensure the readiness of the team to respond to any HSE emergencies.

Documentation: Maintain accurate HSE documentation, including incident reports, inspection records, and safety meeting minutes.

Audit and Inspections: Conduct regular HSE audits and inspections, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

Collaboration: Work closely with project management, engineering, and operational teams to integrate HSE considerations into project planning and execution.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree/ Diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, etc.).

Minimum 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on HSE management.

Professional certifications in HSE are highly desirable.

Strong understanding of Omani HSE regulations and industry best practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential HSE issues.

Annual Vacation: One month paid vacation after 12th month for the first year and after 11 month for the next years.
