Laundrybox is seeking a skilled and experienced Head Washerman to oversee and manage our laundry operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the GCC, with expertise in washing, dry cleaning, spotting, and ironing. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who is committed to delivering excellent service and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and maintain industrial washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment.

Supervise the washing and dry-cleaning processes to ensure proper garment care.

Identify and treat stains using spotting techniques.

Sort, pre-treat, and post-treat garments based on fabric types and cleaning requirements.

Perform and oversee ironing processes to achieve professional-grade results.

Train and guide junior staff on best practices in washing, dry cleaning, spotting, and ironing.

Ensure hygiene and safety standards are maintained in the work area.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to laundry operations and equipment.

Requirements

Experience: 2-5 years in the GCC as a washerman.

Expertise:

Comprehensive knowledge of washing, dry cleaning, and spotting techniques.

Proficiency in handling a variety of fabrics and garments, including delicate and high-end items.

Skilled in professional ironing for a polished finish.

Skills:

Ability to operate and maintain industrial laundry equipment.

Strong organizational and leadership abilities.

Understanding of safety protocols and maintenance procedures.
