Job Title: Head Steward Location: Dubai UAE. Reports to: Executive Chef Job Purpose: As the Head Steward, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the stewarding team to ensure cleanliness, organization, and efficient operations of kitchen and dining areas. You will play a key role in supporting the overall smooth functioning of the food and beverage service. Key Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Supervise and lead the stewarding team, including scheduling, training, and performance management. \xc2\xb7 Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained in all kitchen and dining areas, including equipment, utensils, and workspaces. \xc2\xb7 Monitor and manage the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment. \xc2\xb7 Coordinate with other departments (such as culinary and service) to support operational needs. \xc2\xb7 Implement and enforce health and safety regulations and procedures. \xc2\xb7 Assist with the setup and breakdown of events and functions as needed. \xc2\xb7 Maintain communication with vendors and suppliers for stewarding-related purchases. \xc2\xb7 Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness and maintenance standards. \xc2\xb7 Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for stewarding operations. \xc2\xb7 Handle any stewarding-related issues or emergencies that may arise. Skills and Qualifications: \xc2\xb7 Previous experience in a stewarding or similar role within a hospitality environment. \xc2\xb7 Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team. \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of health and safety standards and regulations. \xc2\xb7 Strong organizational and time management skills. \xc2\xb7 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. \xc2\xb7 Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. \xc2\xb7 Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
