To direct and oversee the payment operations in ADCB in line with the required standards whilst safeguarding the interests of the Bank in order to deliver agreed levels of service and support to internal and external customers
Direct and oversee the Payment Operations team in the execution of remittances and cheque clearing, monitoring the achievement of service levels to external/internal customers to ensure they are executed in line with ADCB Group/UAE Central Bank (UAECB)/Swift standards/regulations and with no operational loss to the Bank
Manage operational risk effectively and proactively by implementing adequate controls around the processes, within the Banks risk and incident management framework to ensure compliance to relevant regulatory requirements
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Group Heads, business units, support functions, external partners, regulatory authorities and engage with key stakeholders on strategic and tactical issues to ensure that the divisions operational capabilities adequately support their business plans.
Manage self and team in line with ADCBs people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximize own and employee contribution to business performance
Contribute to the preparation of the business areas budget and manage and monitor the financial performance against the budget so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon
Recommend and implement improvements to departmental policies, procedures and processes covering all areas of activity so that all relevant procedural requirements are fulfilled while ensuring that ADCB delivers best-in-class services, products and innovation
Identify opportunities to contribute to organizational and departmental change initiatives, programmes and projects taking into account best practice and standards in the business environment
Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the Banks required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactionsSkillsThe ideal candidate should have the following experience:At least 7 years of experience in payment operations with at least 5 years in a senior managerial position
Bachelors Degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration or relevant specialisation
Qualification/Certification in Business Administration/Banking
Experience of, and exposure to payment operations
Operational risk and management reporting
Process improvement and re-engineering

Competitive Salary:The indicative pay range for this role is AED 21,500 - AED 32,500 per month. Additionally, all employees are eligible to participate in one of our rewarding variable pay plans.
