We are looking for the following:Head of unit - General Ledger in finance dept. who will be reporting to head of section - Accounts payable & GL .The BU is looking for a candidate preferably UAE national who is aware of the following.Managing group General Ledger activities Group GL activities performed include preparation of accruals, manual journal entries, account reconciliations, management reports and other analysis as required. Review monthly, year-end accruals for accuracy.Preparing and review of monthly manual and Sub ledger journal entries.Monthly Sub Ledger reconciliations inclusive of supporting documentation and appropriate descriptions.Analyze and maintain all group balance sheet accounts and its detailed schedulesAnalyze and maintain group P&L accounts and its required schedules.Ensure the Groups accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing.Assist in budgets and forecasts for Finance DepartmentAccount/bank reconciliationsManaging, Establishing, monitoring, and enhancing internal controls over financial reporting procedures / activities.Preparation of risk matrix along with the assertions on all the business process.Performing internal audit on Internal control on Financials reporting process and recommends the areas of improvements.Years of experience :- 6 yearsDegree Bachelors in financeProfessional certificate :- CPA
