The Head of Risk will be responsible for overseeing the organizations risk management framework, ensuring the identification, assessment, and mitigation of financial, operational, regulatory, and strategic risks, and collaborating with senior executives and the board to develop and implement risk management strategies that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements, ensuring business resilience and long-term sustainability.Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement an enterprise risk management (ERM) framework that aligns with the organization's strategic goals.
Establish risk policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate financial, operational, regulatory, and strategic risks.
Design and implement risk control frameworks, stress testing methodologies, and capital adequacy assessments.
Establish risk management RCSA for all risk aspects and a contingent funding plan
Identify, assess, and manage risks related to financial operations, liquidity, credit, market fluctuations, and fraud risk.
Establish risk management RCSA for all risk aspects
Work closely with senior management to integrate risk considerations into strategic decision-making.
Provide risk-related training and guidance to internal stakeholders to strengthen risk-awareness practices.
Key Requirements:
Strong analytical skills with expertise in risk modeling, statistical analysis, and financial risk assessment techniques.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and other data analytics tools to support risk evaluation, reporting, and decision-making.
Proven ability to design and implement risk control frameworks, stress testing methodologies, and capital adequacy assessments.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience in stakeholder engagement, regulatory reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.
Regional Banking experience, and familiarity with rules and regulations.
