The Head of Risk Management at Dubai Taxi Corporation will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive risk management framework aimed at identifying, assessing, mitigating, and monitoring risks across the organization. The role demands a strategic leader who will proactively manage financial, operational, strategic, and reputational risks to safeguard the corporation's assets and operations. The ideal candidate will be experienced in risk management, governance, and have a deep understanding of the transportation and public sector industry. Key Responsibilities: Risk Identification and Assessment: Lead the process of identifying and evaluating potential risks that could affect Dubai Taxi Corporation's operations, including financial, operational, strategic, and reputational risks. Develop risk assessment tools and methodologies to ensure thorough risk evaluation. Develop and implement risk mitigation plans, controls, and strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives. Work closely with senior leadership to ensure effective implementation and enforcement of these strategies. Continuously monitor the effectiveness of risk management practices across all areas of the corporation. Report to the CEO and board on the status of identified risks, mitigation plans, and emerging risk trends on a regular basis. Compliance & Governance: Ensure that Dubai Taxi Corporation complies with all relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies related to risk management. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to maintain effective governance frameworks. Crisis Management & Business Continuity: Lead the development and execution of the corporation's crisis management and business continuity plans to ensure resilience in the face of unforeseen disruptions. Facilitate regular testing and updates of these plans. Training & Development: Lead risk management training programs for employees across all levels of the organization to foster a culture of risk awareness. Promote the integration of risk management principles into everyday decision-making processes. Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work with various departments, including Finance, Operations, HR, and IT, to assess and mitigate risks specific to their respective functions. Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Insurance & Risk Transfer: Oversee the corporation's insurance programs, ensuring adequate coverage for operational and financial risks. Evaluate risk transfer opportunities through insurance or other financial instruments. Qualifications and Skills: A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field (Master's degree or professional certification such as FRM, CRM, or similar is a plus). Minimum of 10 years of experience in risk management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably within the transportation, public sector, or service industries. Strong knowledge of risk management principles, methodologies, and regulatory requirements. Proven ability to develop and execute risk management strategies that protect an organization's assets and reputation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization and with external partners. Experience in crisis management, business continuity planning, and disaster recovery strategies.
