Position Summary:Ferns N Petals, a leading E-Commerce brand in the gifting industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Procurement to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, negotiating with suppliers, and managing the overall procurement process. The Head of Procurement will play a crucial role in ensuring the company\'s supply chain runs efficiently, while maintaining quality and cost-effectiveness.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement of goods and services.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts and terms, and maintain relationships with existing suppliers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Analyze market trends and pricing to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations, as well as legal requirements.
• Monitor and track procurement metrics, such as delivery times, cost savings, and supplier performance.
• Oversee the procurement budget and make recommendations for cost-effective measures.
• Lead and manage a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful execution of procurement activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a retail or e-commerce industry.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful procurement strategies.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry trends.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
• Team player with strong leadership abilities.
