We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Wealth and Personal Banking team, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.In this role, you will:
  • Head of Premier Business Development is directly responsible for designing and executing a premier client growth strategy.
  • Responsible for determining and execution acquisition strategy by acquiring premier customers who are balanced based only. Also, responsible for driving other needs/referrals and cross sales.
  • Establishing partnerships with external firms with the intent of acquiring new funded clients
  • Ensuring acquired clients are onboarded on HSBC\xe2\x80\x99s World Trader platform. Responsible for organizing micromarketing events at malls, clubs, community centers and other locations with high footfall to enable team members to have access to acquisition opportunities.
  • Work closely with Sr. EMABs to develop strategies that will help in better management of our companies and driving better outcomes through wellbeing seminars and international coverage programs.
  • Co-ordinate and give feedback to proposition team to enhance proposition benefits and features which appeals this customer segment.
  • Will be responsible for sharing key insights and market trends across WPB senior leadership. Insights to be inclusive of Credit risk, compliance, fraud, and Products related.
  • Working closely with wholesale banking (GB / CMB) Heads for building platforms which targets companies where holistic solutions could be offered and giving clients the advantage of our services and driving better customer experience.
  • A key member of the UAE WPB leadership team, work collaboratively with WPB businesses heads as part of a high performing team to build a profitable and sustainable Retail Business.
  • An integral part of the role would also include building market position by locating, developing, defining and negotiating WPB product solutions for the employees of our existing clients.
RequirementsTo be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:Knowledge / Experience
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree is must to obtain visa in UAE
  • A full understanding of the WPB products (propositions) and services, including the global service standards, and the ability to communicate this effectively to customers.
  • Proven experience selling to and working with high-net-worth individuals.
  • Knowledge of developing a networking strategy and proven ability to achieve sales targets.
  • Knowledge of competitor activity and propositions
  • Strong understanding of HSBC Group, including cross business awareness
