The Ideal Candidate:
Master Mariner with 8-10 years of solid experience in tanker and/or dry bulk ship operations (tanker experience is a plus!).
Proven leadership and management skills in post-fixture operations.
Deep understanding of tanker operations, including tank cleaning procedures, and the intricacies of bulk carrier operations and cargo handling.
A sharp mind with exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships.
The ability to thrive under pressure and prioritize effectively.
Proficiency in relevant software programs and systems (like IMOS) is a must.
A certification from a recognized maritime institution (e.g., Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers) is a valuable bonus.
