This pivotal role will involve leading company's M&A activities to drive strategic growth and operational excellence.Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Lead the identification, evaluation, and execution of M&A opportunities aligned with Company's strategic objectives.
Due Diligence: Oversee comprehensive due diligence processes, including financial, operational, legal, and market analyses to ensure informed decision-making.
Integration Management: Develop and implement integration plans to ensure seamless transitions and realization of synergies from acquired entities.
Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential targets within the waste management industry.
Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including target company executives, advisors, and internal team members.
Financial Modeling: Create and review complex financial models to assess the viability and potential returns of proposed M&A transactions.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all M&A activities comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to the Executive Director on the progress and outcomes of M&A activities.
Candidate Profile:
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in M&A, with a significant portion within the waste management industry.
Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA) are highly desirable.
Technical Skills:
Extensive experience with financial modeling, valuation techniques, and due diligence processes.
Strong understanding of market dynamics and regulatory frameworks within the waste management sector.
Proven track record of successfully leading and integrating M&A transactions.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., MS Excel, financial analysis software).
