Join us.Position Overview:The Head of MEA and Official Institutions will lead and drive the growth of our asset management business across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. This executive role encompasses the leadership of the local Institutional and Intermediary Client Coverage Team, the Investment Team, and the Official Institutions Team. The incumbent will act as the legal entity head for the Dubai branch and the regional head for the Riyadh legal entity, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and fostering robust client relationships.Key Responsibilities:1. Strategic Leadership:
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive growth and business transformation within the MEA region.
  • Lead the regional Institutional and Intermediary Client Coverage, Investment, and Official Institutions teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Oversee the development and execution of regional business plans, ensuring alignment with the firm\xe2\x80\x99s global strategies.
2. Business Development:
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the MEA region.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with key institutional clients and official institutions.
  • Collaborate with global teams to leverage cross-regional opportunities and insights.
3. Legal Entity Management:
  • Serve as the legal entity head for the Dubai branch and the regional head for the Riyadh legal entity.
  • Ensure compliance with all local regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies and external auditors.
4. Leadership and Talent Development:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of sales and investment professionals within a matrix organization.
  • Promote a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Implement initiatives to attract, retain, and develop top talent in the region.
5. Executive Client Engagement:
  • Engage with senior executives and key stakeholders of major institutional clients to understand their needs and provide tailored investment solutions.
  • Represent the firm at high-level client meetings, industry conferences, and public forums.
  • Ensure exceptional client service and satisfaction.
6. Regulatory and Risk Management:
  • Maintain the highest standards of regulatory and risk management excellence.
  • Ensure robust risk controls and compliance frameworks are in place and adhered to.
  • Monitor and manage risks associated with regional operations and client engagements.
Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in asset management or related financial services, with a strong focus on the MEA region.
  • Proven track record in leading and growing a business unit or regional office.
  • Deep understanding of the institutional and intermediary market landscape in MEA.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing teams within a matrix organization.
  • Excellent client relationship management skills, with the ability to engage with C-suite executives and key stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of local regulatory environments and compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
