Head of Marketing position based in our Dubai office. The Marketing Team is responsible for bringing our engineering, technology and products to life through our communication strategy; increasing brand awareness, brand advocacy and driving conversion. This role is a part of Dyson MEA Leadership Team, responsible for planning, leading and executing the brand building, product and communication strategy for all Dyson product categories in MEA, and drive product categories planning and marketing. Develop marketing plans which will drive incremental sales growth, share gains and positive brand attributes for MEA
Define existing and new consumer target(s) and segments and develop propositions and programs to drive business within them
Focus driving growth in MEA
Contribute to the formulation and execution of MEA marketing plans to differentiate Dyson, build brand equity and drive consumer purchase
Conduct competitor and market analysis, including product and claim analysis, to develop counter strategies and initiatives
Deliver marketing activity programs for MEA
Collaborate with internal and external partners to execute go-to-market strategies, ongoing support and plans including new product launches, advertising creative, media planning, channel strategies, public relations, point of sale, promotions etc.
Assist with the development of effective brand communications including TV, Digital, Advocacy, Print etc.
Effectively manage key external agencies - Creative Agency, Media Agency, etc.
Work with media agency to plan best in class media execution, explore innovative new media channels to ensure cut through.
Work effectively with the Global team to ensure that there is alignment and consistency across markets wherever possible and sensible.
Deliver product marketing for MEA
Undertake range-planning work to maximize long-term profitability.
Devise product differentiation strategy across various markets and channels.
Drive competitor analysis to ensure appropriate business response.
Work with distributors to ensure all on-product and in-box communication is fine-tuned to drive sales and communicate brand and machine benefits.
Leadership & Management
Take a key role in the management team for MEA
Partner with the Managing Director and other functional leads
Represent MEA and collaborate with Group and other regional colleagues
Manage Marketing team (10+FTE)
Fulfill other duties as required Pick up new activities that fall broadly in the purpose of the role Fix things that you can see need fixing Identify problems and find solutions Key interfaces

About You Experience and Education
Bachelors Degree in Marketing or a related field required
10-12 years brand marketing experience required; some of which must be with a strong consumer brand and multiple categories.
Strong knowledge of media and digital environment.
People management min 5yr
Previous working experience for beauty/luxury brands.

Broad thinker with strong analytical skills; ability to use market analysis to identify high potential opportunities and key insights.
Detailed into cost tracking and efficiency while managing large budget with clear KPIs to deliver objectives.

Passion; this person needs to be passionate about Dyson, technology and engineering.

Fluency in English with knowledge of Arabic or other local languages is an advantage.
