Job Title: Head of Maintenance - Middle East & Africa

The opportunity


ADB SAFEGATE, a leading provider of airport and airline solutions, is seeking a Head of Maintenance for the Middle East & Africa region . The Head of Maintenance will oversee all major maintenance contracts in the region and ensure compliance with standards and safety protocols.


You will make an impact by....


• Oversee and ensure the maintenance and operational performance of all maintenance contracts in the region.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies for safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage P&L and budgets for maintenance contracts in collaboration with Maintenance Managers.
• Represent the company in client meetings and establish strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Ensure clear communication of contract details to maintenance teams and implementation of necessary procedures and controls.
• Lead, coach, and develop regional maintenance teams.
• Plan personnel training and ensure staffing with required skills.
• Coordinate with Sales Department for succession planning and resource allocation.
• Identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop internal Key Performance Indicators for effective maintenance function performance.

• Minimum 10 years of maintenance management experience, preferably in aviation.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to work in diverse environments and handle multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of regulations, standards, budget management, and stakeholder relations.
• Innovative thinking, strategic implementation, and cost-saving capabilities.




Location and Reporting
The role is based in Dubai, reporting directly to the Operations Director. The Head of Maintenance supervises all Maintenance Managers and oversees maintenance contracts in the region.
