Job Description
Our global client is looking to make their first hire in Dubai to head up the legal function. They have grown significantly in recent years across Europe and the Middle East, specialising in the retail sector.You will be joining a rapidly growing business where you will report to the Regional GC. The work is a stimulating mix of corporate work related to M&A, as well as the drafting and negotiation of a range of commercial contracts in IP, advertising and payments. It is essential that candidates have extensive experience in understanding UAE laws related to e-commerce and data privacy. Finally, you will also be expected to offer analysis and management of risk and regulatory changes within the UAE and wider GCC.This is an excellent opportunity for a Lawyer with a mix of international law firm and in-house experience in a relevant sector, with at least 8 years of experience and a strong understanding of the UAE legal system. Candidates must also be fluent in Arabic.
