Job Description

Our client is a prominent conglomerate in the UAE. We are currently looking for a Head of Leasing to join one of their subsidiaries, a car rental & leasing company that has been offering short- and long-term rentals across the United Arab Emirates for the past 50 years.Experience:At least 10 years experience in rent-a-car, automotive or related industry, with at least 6 years as managerial role within the local UAE market, UAE experience is a must.Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the sales team in achieving the company sales target and maintain effective communication of company strategy and objectives.
  • Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures the achievement of company sales goals and profitability.
  • Initiate and coordinate the development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
  • Ensure each one of the team members is consistently using the company\'s sales tools in order to capture, update and maintain all account-related information for effective sales management.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Conduct one-on-one review with the sales team to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for improvement.
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by being up to date with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors.
  • Establish and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs, competition and supply and demand.
  • Provide timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain a maximum profit margin.
  • Create and conduct proposal presentations and request for proposal responses.
  • Control expenses to meet budget guidelines.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and code of conduct; ensuring that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
  • Ensure that sales team meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals and closings.
  • Delegate authority and responsibility with accountability and follow-up.
  • Conduct regular coaching and counselling with the sales team to build motivation and selling skills.
  • Maintain contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate the ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.
  • Ensure that all business activity is conducted in line with company values, policies and codes of conduct.
