In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive learning and development programs that align with our organisational goals and foster the growth and development of our people.What we\'ll need from you: Develop and execute a strategic learning and development plan that supports the organisation's objectives and promotes a culture of continuous learning. Collaborate with department heads and our Chief People Officer to identify training needs and design a customised learning platform for new and existing employees. Oversee the creation and delivery of training programs, workshops, and resources to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance. Evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives through feedback mechanisms, metrics, and analysis, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement. Lead a team of learning and development professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure their success and professional growth. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in learning and development, incorporating innovative approaches and technologies to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of training programs. Cultivate strong partnerships with external vendors, consultants, and educational institutions to leverage resources and expertise as needed.The deal breakers: A minimum of 4 years of experience in learning and development roles, with 2 years in a leadership or management capacity. Proven track record of designing and implementing successful learning and development programs that drive employee engagement, performance, and retention. Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training evaluation techniques. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of our organisation. Demonstrated ability to think strategically, prioritise initiatives, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Experience with learning management systems (LMS), e-learning platforms, and other training technologies.
