Head of Investment Operations - Dubai -DIFC - Fund of Funds

Leading family office with extensive operations in Dubai and Riyadh.
We are looking to recruit a Head of Investment Operations for the DIFC office.

The role:

• ??Oversee the complete process of NAVs (Equity Funds, Money Market Funds, Fund of Funds, Private Equity and Venture Capital, Real Estate and International real estate which are based in Cayman Island and Luxembourg) and ensure timely and accurate information shared with internal teams and external parties.
• ??Liaising with Fund Administrators, custodians, Sub Fund Managers, lawyers and banker of funds.
• ??Involve in the new product development and review terms and conditions and related accounting impact and update changes in the accounting system
• ??Provide feedback to relevant departments to respond to queries received from Capital Market Authority (CMA) and provide information for monthly and quarterly CMA reporting.
• ??Preparation of half yearly and annual financial statements as per IFRS and coordinate with external auditor of all funds and also responsible for zakat returns for all public and private funds.
• ??Work with Business Technology team to integrate different support system with accounting system to streamline several operations process and client statements
• ??Review policies and procedures related to different product related to Operations and develop questionnaire, process checklists and document guidelines.
• ??Fund accounting and administration of different kinds of funds which includes private equity funds, money market funds, hedge funds and real estate funds.
• ??Review Net Asset Value for a portfolio of medium to high complex investment funds.
• ??Responsible for compliance with different agreements of investment structures and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• ??Liaison with Investment managers, brokers, custodians in relation to trading activities of the funds.
• ??Review and prepare capital statements, distribution statements and the investor reports.
• ??Review KYC documents prior to submission to Compliance department.
• ??Assist senior management in the invoicing process, collection of outstanding fees and resolve matters in relation to long outstanding invoices and SOC 1 audit of the Dubai office.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics or equivalent.
• Master's Degree in Finance, Economics or equivalent is preferred.
• CFA / ACCA / CMA or equivalent is preferred.

Experience

• 10+ years Prior experience in Investment Management and Financial Services Industry e.g. Pension Fund, Endowment and/or Family Office.

Pay: AED55,000.00 - AED75,000.00 per month
