: As the Head of Inclusion / SEN (Special Educational Needs) Coordinator at Diyar Schools, you will lead and manage the provision for students with special educational needs and disabilities. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure that all students receive the support they need to achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
Develop and implement the school\'s SEN policy in line with current legislation and best practices.
Lead and manage the inclusion team, providing guidance, support, and training as necessary.
Coordinate the provision for students with special educational needs and disabilities, ensuring that they have access to a broad, balanced, and relevant curriculum.
Student Support:
Oversee the identification and assessment of students with SEN, developing individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitoring their progress.
Ensure that appropriate interventions and support are in place for students with SEN, including in-class support, specialized teaching, and access to external services.
Foster an inclusive school environment where all students feel valued and supported.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with teachers to ensure that they are equipped with the skills and resources needed to support students with SEN.
Liaise with parents, keeping them informed about their child\'s progress and involving them in the development and review of IEPs.
Collaborate with external agencies, including educational psychologists, speech and language therapists, and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive support for students with SEN.

Participate in professional development opportunities and share best practices with colleagues.
Provide training and support to staff on SEN and inclusion-related issues.

Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status or Certification in respective country
Degree in Education or a related field, with a specialization in SEN preferred
Extensive 5 years experience working with students with special educational needs
Strong leadership and management skills

Commitment to ongoing professional development and inclusion best practices
