Manage the Middle East payroll process, including collating and updating changes in line with payroll deadlines.
Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers and staff on HR matters, supporting managers with casework, performance, attendance, and employee relations issues.
Manage monthly reporting packs for the accounts team, including YTD costs, business unit costs, and people data for the company MI pack.
Handle DEWS submissions for each required entity.
Oversee monthly benefit submissions.
Administer contracts of employment, offer letters, and amendment letters.
Serve as a super user of HR systems, including WorkDay and ADP.
Manage the onboarding and offboarding process, ensuring seamless induction for new employees.
Support the wider team with liaising with recruiters, scheduling interviews, and candidate communication.
Provide advice and guidance on HR policies and processes, escalating issues when necessary.
Respond to day-to-day benefits queries.
Produce employment references and tenancy letters.
Ensure all employee records are complete, accurate, and up to date.
Assist the HR team with annual remuneration reviews.
Ensure compliance with employment laws in each jurisdiction.
Collaborate on company events, including mental health awareness week, international women\'s day, pride month, black history month, etc.
Support upcoming projects, including the implementation of WorkDay, annual performance reviews, and benefits overhaul.
The Candidate
Minimum 4 years of HR experience in the UAE.
Proven experience as an HR Generalist or Advisor in a Middle East business.
Experience managing HR for companies with 50+ employees.
Background in financial services.
Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, with experience in data manipulation for report production.
Strong work ethic with a commitment to task completion.
Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and maintain confidentiality.
Proven experience in policy and process implementation.
Experience managing HR projects through to completion.
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Friendly, approachable, and excellent communication skills.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Willingness to identify and implement alternative solutions to obstacles.
Ability to take ownership, work autonomously, and be accountable.
Strong team ethic and proven ability to work collaboratively.
Good knowledge of employment and labor laws.
