A well-recognised privately led infrastructure group in Dubai is looking to recruit a highly skilled HR Manager. The Human Resource Manager will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources department, supporting Senior Management to implement a best in practice HR strategy that will be aligned with the business objectives.
The HR Manager will be responsible for over 1,500 employees across different sectors including power generation and distribution, oil refining/trading/shipping, telecommunications. The role is based in their UAE office which consists of 50 employees however the successful candidate will be experienced in managing large HR teams. This role consists of a team of 16 HR professionals who are highly skilled individuals therefore it is essential the candidate has experience working with such a large scale.
The scope of this is role is to oversee the daily workflow of the department acting as its support system specifically, within managing performance appraisal systems that drive performance and analysing trends in compensation and benefits. You will also develop learning and development programs, oversees employee disciplinary meetings, and maintain knowledge of best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in HR.
To be successful in this role you will be a highly capable and experienced HR professional within a minimum 5-years experience in a managerial position in the U.A.E (preferably in the energy sector). You will hold a bachelors degree in HR, or a related field and a strong understanding of national laws related to HR.
Finally, you will hold excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
