Our client, a leading

Fashion Brand Group

based in Dubai, is seeking a

Head of Finance

with expertise in commercial finance within the Retail Apparel and Fashion industry. If you have a strong background in managing financial strategies, P&L, and have a passion for the fashion industry, this is the role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Strategy & Commercial Steering:

Develop and execute financial strategies in line with fashion industry trends and global market shifts. Provide commercial insights on product pricing, discount strategies, and inventory turnover. Analyze sales performance across product lines, stores, and e-commerce platforms.

2. P&L Management & Cost Optimization:

Oversee P&L management, ensuring profitability across retail, wholesale, and e-commerce channels. Control cost structures and supplier payments while improving gross margins. Implement financial KPIs specific to the fashion industry, like sell-through rates and markdown efficiency.

3. Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Planning:

Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecasts, incorporating sales projections and unique cost drivers for fashion. Conduct scenario analysis for product launches, new store openings, and international expansions.

4. Financial Reporting & Compliance:

Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with IFRS/local standards. Manage tax planning, customs duties, and VAT compliance for cross-border sales. Monitor financial risks and implement internal controls to safeguard assets.

5. ERP & Financial Software Management:

Oversee the implementation and optimization of ERP and financial tools specific to the fashion industry. Ensure seamless integration between finance, supply chain, inventory, and sales platforms.

6. Technology & Tools Expertise (Preferred):

ERP Systems: SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite Accounting: QuickBooks, Xero, Oracle Financials Analytics: Power BI, Tableau, Looker Retail & E-Commerce: Shopify Analytics, Retail Pro, Salesforce Commerce Cloud

7. Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with merchandising, operations, and marketing teams to drive growth and profitability. Lead a team of finance professionals, ensuring continuous learning and development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; MBA or CPA/CFA preferred.

Experience:

8+ years of finance experience, preferably within fashion, apparel, or retail industries.

Industry Knowledge:

Understanding of fashion supply chains, product life cycles, and retail financial models.

Skills:

Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and financial automation tools; strong analytical skills.

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management.

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
