Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Finance and Accounting to join a Real estate Development company in Dubai. This leadership role is crucial for overseeing the financial health and strategy of our company. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial role, preferably within the real estate industry.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CFA preferred.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial role, preferably within the real estate industry.

- Strong knowledge of real estate finance and accounting principles.

- Proven leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving abilities.

- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel).

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Financial Leadership:

- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's goals.

- Provide insights and recommendations to the executive team on financial matters.

- Lead long-term financial planning and risk management activities.

- Budgeting and Reporting:

- Oversee the preparation and management of annual budgets.

- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

- Present financial information to stakeholders, including the board of directors and investors.

- Accounting Operations:

- Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.

- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and compliance with accounting standards.

- Maintain and enhance internal control systems.

- Compliance and Audit:

- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.

- Coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process.

- Implement corporate governance and regulatory compliance initiatives.

- Team Management:

- Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

- Conduct performance evaluations and support professional development opportunities for team members.

- Project Finance:

- Evaluate the financial viability of real estate projects.

- Oversee project financing and ensure optimal capital structuring.

- Monitor and report on project budgets and financial performance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
