Job Title: Head of Finance Job code: 3275 Location: Abu Dhabi Experience: 12 to 15 Years Language: Excellent in English

Responsibility: Oversee the funding framework. Regularly review and ensure all levies and fees imposed on Licensed Financial Institutions and Insurance Companies are sufficient to fund to company operations. Oversee that ongoing accounting procedures related to reserve management transactions are in line with approved accounting policies and procedures. Develop, execute, and manage finance strategy aligned to the overall company strategy and vision. Ensure that business risk controls related to investment transactions have been appropriately and effectively maintained, reviewed, and implemented. Oversee the preparation, management and reporting of periodic budgets. Present financial statistics and insights to the Board of Directors. Lead the development and implementation of financial and accounting policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and address issues of non-adherence. Develop and implement KPIs to continuously evaluate and measure the effectiveness of Finance department's activities. Ensure that investment transactions are in line with the accounting system and reserve management policy. Providing sound financial assistance and information to management for it to make important business decisions. Experience and qualification. Bachelor's or master's Degree preferably in Accounting / Finance Professional accounting / finance qualification is an advantage (CPA, ACCA) 12+ years of experience with at least 8+ years of strong experience in a similar role 8+ years working experience in the UAE, with appropriate familiarity with the UAE market and regulations.
