Purpose:
\xe2\x97\x8f As the Head of Ecommerce, you will be responsible for overseeing the full profit and loss (P&L) of multiple ecommerce brands for GMG Sports division.
\xe2\x97\x8f You will lead a team of category managers, catalog and master data resources, as well as three direct reports who are Ecommerce Managers.
\xe2\x97\x8f Your primary objective will be to drive the growth and success of our ecommerce businesses, ensuring their alignment with our overall digital and omnichannel strategies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, technology, and finance, to achieve revenue and profitability goals.

Strategy and Planning:
\xe2\x97\x8f Develop and implement the ecommerce strategy in alignment with the overall organizational goals and objectives.
\xe2\x97\x8f Identify growth opportunities, market trends, and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the ecommerce space.
\xe2\x97\x8f Create and execute strategic plans for each ecommerce brand, outlining clear objectives, milestones, and KPIs
\xe2\x97\x8f Drive the day to day trading operations on our ecommerce websites and apps
Financial Performance:
\xe2\x97\x8f Oversee the full P&L of the ecommerce brands, monitor financial performance, and take proactive measures to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
\xe2\x97\x8f Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify areas for growth and profitability improvement.
\xe2\x97\x8f Develop and manage budgets, forecasting revenue and expenses accurately.
Team Leadership and Management:
\xe2\x97\x8f Build, lead, and motivate a high-performing ecommerce team, providing clear direction and setting performance expectations.
\xe2\x97\x8f Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, encouraging professional development and growth opportunities for team members.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
\xe2\x97\x8f Collaborate closely with marketing teams to develop effective digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media campaigns, to drive traffic and conversion.
\xe2\x97\x8f Partner with category managers and merchandising teams to ensure effective product assortment, pricing strategies, and inventory management
\xe2\x97\x8f Work closely with technology and IT teams to optimize the ecommerce platforms, enhance user experience, and ensure seamless integration with other system
Data Analysis and Reporting:
\xe2\x97\x8f Utilize analytics tools and platforms to gather insights, measure performance, and track key metrics, such as conversion rates, average order value, customer lifetime value, and customer acquisition cost.
\xe2\x97\x8f Generate regular reports and dashboards to provide visibility into ecommerce performance, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Person Specific Requirements:
Base Requirement: 4+ years in a similar ecommerce role
Minimum Experience and Knowledge:
Bachelor\'s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (Master\'s degree preferred).
Proven experience in managing multiple ecommerce brands and driving their P&L performance.
Strong understanding of digital marketing, ecommerce technologies, and industry best practices.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute ecommerce strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability.
Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
Strong business acumen, financial literacy, and budget management skills.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
Prior experience in the retail industry or a similar consumer-focused industry is highly desirable.
