Head of DevOps - FinTech - Dubai, Full TimeWe are looking for a Head of DevOps to join our client, who are a leading FinTech organization in Dubai. As the Head of DevOps, you will lead a growing team of DevOps professionals, oversee the design and implementation of system architecture whilst making sure this adheres to regulations and industry standards.Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a DevOps strategy aligned with the companys growth objectives and security standards within the FinTech/banking industry.
Architect, manage, and optimize cloud-agnostic infrastructure solutions that ensure flexibility, scalability, and high availability across multiple cloud platforms.
Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse, international DevOps team, ensuring effective collaboration, communication, and productivity across different time zones and cultures.
Oversee and implement security and compliance measures specific to the FinTech and banking sectors, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline the release process, reduce deployment times, and improve software quality.
Establish monitoring, alerting, and automation frameworks to ensure high performance and reliability of production systems.
Work closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to embed DevOps best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years in DevOps roles with at least 5 years in a leadership position. FinTech or banking industry experience is required.
Demonstrated experience managing cloud-agnostic environments, with expertise in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or similar platforms.
Strong background in DevOps tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Jenkins, and GitLab, as well as proficiency with monitoring and logging tools.
Proven track record of managing and leading international teams, with excellent people management and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving operational challenges.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
