As the Head of Design (Architect) at our company, you will play a pivotal role in leading and directing our design team to create innovative and impactful architectural designs. You will be responsible for overseeing the architectural design process, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that projects meet high standards of quality and creativity. Lead and manage the design team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the successful execution of architectural projects. Oversee the development and implementation of architectural design concepts, ensuring alignment with project requirements and objectives. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including engineers, project managers, and clients, to integrate design solutions into overall project plans. Conduct regular design reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to elevate the quality and creativity of architectural designs. Drive the exploration of new design concepts and technologies to continuously innovate and improve design processes and outcomes. Establish and maintain design standards, protocols, and best practices to uphold consistency and excellence across all architectural projects. Participate in project kickoff meetings, offering strategic input and design direction to align with project goals and client expectations. Manage project timelines and resources, ensuring the timely delivery of design milestones and the efficient allocation of design team members. Contribute to business development efforts by providing design expertise for proposals, presentations, and client meetings. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, promoting knowledge sharing, creativity, and professional growth among design team members. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in architecture and design to inform and inspire the design team's work. Ensure compliance with building regulations, codes, and environmental standards in all architectural designs and project executions. Represent the design team in senior leadership meetings, providing updates on project progress and contributing to strategic decision-making. Serve as a mentor and role model for the design team, embodying a strong work ethic, integrity, and a passion for architectural excellence. Required qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field. Proven experience in a senior design or architectural leadership role, with a strong portfolio of successfully executed projects. In-depth knowledge of architectural design principles, building codes, and construction processes. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of fostering a high-performing and collaborative design team. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders. Strong project management capabilities, including the ability to prioritize, delegate, and oversee multiple projects concurrently. A strategic and innovative mindset, with a passion for pushing the boundaries of architectural design and embracing new technologies. Experience in participating in business development activities, such as proposal development and client presentations. Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging tools in architectural design and visualization. Demonstrated commitment to upholding ethical standards and promoting sustainability in architectural design practices. Professional licensure or certification in architecture may be preferred, depending on the specific requirements of the role. Ability to travel as needed for project site visits, client meetings, and industry conferences.
