Informa is listed on London Stock Exchange and a member of FTSE 100, with over 11,000 colleagues working in more than 30 countries.We are looking for an experienced and innovative B2B commercial marketing strategist to join a thriving portfolio across the Healthcare, Energy, Egypt and Cityscape divisions within Informa Markets, EMEA, working across some of the largest exhibitions in the region.This new role will be an important part of the both the divisional marketing management team, alongside the wider EMEA commercial marketing. Reporting to the Vice President - Commercial Marketing, the right candidate is an expert in the creation of lead gen, demand gen and ABM strategies and building and communicating OKRs.The right candidate will be an innovator with an eye on improving effectiveness, with a data-led approach, and comfortable in both setting the strategy and translating that into campaign marketing tactics.RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop an ambitious commercial marketing and communications strategy with a focus on significant revenue growth
Work with the Commercial Marketing Managers and Executives to ensure high impact campaigns are delivered effectively and efficiently across the 20+ events in the portfolio
Partner with Commercial Leads and Sales teams to identify, build and nurture growth sectors across exhibitors and sponsors for our events
Deliver growth in quality new business leads and marketing influenced revenue, in line with EMEA KPIs
Build a culture of brand and messaging excellence in the commercial marketing division
Analyse and optimise your team's campaigns, by championing data at the heart of what we do, from the use of data to build insight-led campaigns through to enriched data experiences
Embed a culture of experimentation, innovation and an agile growth mindset
Champion the adoption and optimisation of marketing technology solutions, including AI, for a future-facing approach to digital
Build a commercial marketing division with a focus on customer retention through the delivery of exceptional customer experiences, helping drive forward improvement plans for the customer journey
Partner with Sales and Sales Operations teams to manage lead flow
Partner with Digital Marketing, Event Marketing and Content Marketing Team to manage the communications to our audiences effectively
Embed a strong culture of collaboration with other commercial marketing leaders, finding opportunity for streamlining, standardisation and automation to ensure best practice is implemented across EMEA commercial marketing
Evaluate performance using relevant KPIs, data and feedback from existing and prospective customers
The right candidate is an accomplished commercial marketing strategist, with 7+ years focused on the generation of new leads, and nurture of our lapsed customers.Qualifications
An experienced commercial marketing leader with 8+ years of driving marketing growth strategies leading to increased B2B leads (MQLs) and Marketing Influenced Revenue
Experience in an in-house position, with hands on experience in setting up lead gen campaigns that deliver real results
Experience in a high growth business such as a start-up, tech company or similar
4+ years experience in people management and leadership
History of building high performing teams
Deadline driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
Experience of developing a commercial marketing vision and driving activity to realise it
Demonstrable experience of demand generation in a high growth organisation
Experience of Account Based Marketing
Exceptional knowledge of online and offline channels and integrated campaigns
Solid experience of marketing a mixed portfolio of products
Analytical with a data-driven mindset
Experience of developing a test & learn culture
Experienced in market analysis
Good working knowledge of marketing technology and analytics tools (Eloqua, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, AEM. Google Analytics also a plus).
Good working knowledge of salesforce
A great collaborator, strong in both internal and external communications
Works effectively with consultants and agencies for expertise, support and execution of campaigns
