Leadership & Strategy:
Lead and set up the integration of acoustic comfort thinking into our school design, planning, and concept (KODA).
Oversee the development and implementation of the acoustics division, managing it as an independent brand from Kidzink, while ensuring alignment across both internal and external projects.
Lead training and awareness initiatives on acoustical engineering and comfort in the design of schools and other spaces (across KODA and KI).
Product Development:
Develop a range of acoustic furniture in collaboration with the furniture team, integrating sustainable practices and innovative technology. Lead the development of the marketing story for the range and each piece of furniture.
Work closely with KI Design to integrate acoustical comfort and design into school renovation projects.
Develop the specifications for in-house acoustical finishes for all our projects.
Client Engagement & Consultancy:
Deliver acoustic consultancy services as part of our broader design consultancy offering, whether we are the main consultant or acting as a sub-consultant.
Enhance awareness of acoustical comfort by collaborating with marketing, sales, and the architectural team. This will involve creating client presentations, materials, and participating in conferences and talks focused on acoustical solutions for schools and learning spaces.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, offering expert consultancy and building strong relationships with key stakeholders, architects, and fit-out companies across the Middle East and beyond.
Team Management & Collaboration:
Build and mentor a dedicated team of designers and acoustics experts, fostering innovation and collaboration.
Collaborate with Kidzink's manufacturing team and Koda's architectural projects to ensure that acoustic products are seamlessly integrated into both internal and external projects.
Technical Expertise & Innovation:
Lead the development of innovative acoustic products using cutting-edge technologies.
Stay current with industry trends and maintain technical capability, creativity, and a passion for acoustical design solutions.
Ensure all products meet high-performance and aesthetic standards, while adhering to sustainability goals.
Supplier & Partnership Development:
Collaborate with the procurement team to identify and establish partnerships with top-tier third-party suppliers, testing labs, and industry specialists to ensure the company remains at the forefront of acoustic innovation.
Develop and maintain a network of trusted partners for solutions beyond in-house PET panel manufacturing, focusing on high-quality and sustainable acoustic materials.
Coordinate with the Design Director to vet and approve all external partnerships and procurement strategies, ensuring alignment with company goals and project standards.
Oversee the negotiation and evaluation of supplier contracts to secure the best value and maintain strong relationships with industry-leading vendors.
Qualifications & Certifications:
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Acoustics, Industrial Design, Product Design, or related fields.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years' experience in the acoustic solutions or soundproofing industry, with a focus on product design and manufacturing.
Leadership: Proven experience leading design teams and developing successful acoustic products.
Technical Skills: Expertise in AutoCAD, Rhino, SolidWorks, and acoustic simulation tools.
Certifications: Relevant industry certifications in sustainability and soundproofing standards are a plus.
Client Management: Strong ability to manage client relationships and deliver complex projects.
Global Exposure: Experience working with international clients, especially in the Middle East, is an advantage.

Pay: AED30,000.00 - AED35,000.00 per month
