Responsibilities:
Accounts Department:
• Lead and manage the Accounts department, overseeing team activities and performance.
• Develop, control, and streamline accounting functions to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Oversee all accounting transactions, identifying and rectifying errors and omissions.
• Analyze and prepare monthly Profit and Loss reports, highlighting trends for management review.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
• Oversee cashiers and manage cash and banking operations effectively.
• Collaborate with auditors to improve controls and reporting cycles, providing necessary reports and information.
• Advise sales managers on customer transaction processing and liaise with banks and their representatives.
• Manage budget processing, analysis, and forecasting as required by management.
Logistics Operations:
• Oversee logistics operations, including internal stock management and customer stock delivery.
• Design, control, and streamline stock operations; provide guidance and training to stock-in-charges.
• Support branches with stock-taking operations and manage inventory adjustments per branch requests.
• Supervise storekeepers for DT Store and warehouse, ensuring efficient operations.
• Control purchase stock delivery operations and provide operational support to the purchase department.
• Streamline customer consignment operations and conduct periodic stock aging analysis.
ERP Management:
• Serve as the Odoo System Administrator, overseeing customization and streamlining of the ERP system.
• Provide operational reports to managers and monitor the Odoo server software and PostgreSQL database.
• Customize and control user rights management in the Odoo system and implement new Odoo modules.
• Collaborate with the development team to streamline the Odoo system and integrate it with the WooCommerce online web store.
• Support the online team with transactional operations between Odoo and WooCommerce systems, ensuring accuracy and security.
HR Administration:
• Customize, implement, and administer the HR payroll system in the Odoo ERP.
• Control HR operations recorded in the Odoo system and provide training and assistance to HR officers.
• Monitor monthly payroll processing and control the employee expenses module in the Odoo system.
• Manage reconciliation of WPS payments with the bank, payslips, and accounting vouchers.
IT Support:
• Collaborate closely with the IT officer to ensure smooth company-wide network operations of the Odoo system.
• Support IT officer in Ubuntu OS regarding Odoo system operations and database backup operations.
• Assist IT officer in providing secure and efficient system access to developers, ensuring system security.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred.
• Proven 3-5 years experience in accounting, finance, and operations management, with a track record of success in a leadership role in UAE .
• Mandatory experience 3-4 years with Odoo ERP system.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
• Proficiency in financial management software and ERP systems.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
• Strategic thinking and planning abilities, with a focus on driving organizational growth and success.
