Position Overview: The Head of Accounting will oversee and direct all accounting operations and processes within the organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency. This leadership role will involve managing a team of accounting professionals, maintaining the integrity of financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to executive management. Qualifications:Education:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred.
Experience:
8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and reporting standards.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership abilities, with a proven track record of team development and success.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and report to senior management.
Deep understanding of international and UAE accounting rules and standards, ensuring compliance in all transactions, financial reports, and regulatory filings.
