Job Description

Responsibilities

• Leading and developing the accounting team of 2 direct reports
• Leading the accounting function, taking full responsibility for all statutory reporting and accounting, year-end audits, monthly management reporting and tax compliance
• Verify the accuracy of vendor invoices against terms of payment and agreement and confirm that the correctness of invoices
• Generate payment to vendors on a routine schedule
• Reconcile vendors' accounts on a periodic manner in order to avoid any disputes
• Respond to all payment related enquiries of vendors according to company financial policy and procedures
• Disburse employee related payment
• Whistle blowing - Highlight any significant financial/business mismanagement
• Develop and maintain a filing system for financial information, records and documents to ensure easily available information
• Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
• Leading the annual budget process working actively with all departments and presenting to the Managing Director
• Driving the continuous development and implementation of financial reporting processes and systems to drive improved timeliness and accuracy of data

Required Skills

• Qualified accountant
• 3 years experience
• Hands-on style with a strong eye for detail and the ability to operate independently
• Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with inter-department teams
• Experience of leading and developing individuals, setting a tone of finance best practice

Pay: From AED20,000.00 per month
