Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh

Role: Bar Manager overseeing operations in a prestigious hotel with restaurants, function venues, and lounges.

Salary: US$30,000 to US$33,600 per annum under expatriate conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all aspects of bar operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue and profit goals.
• Craft and design innovative, high-quality cocktails and beverage menus.
• Lead and manage all aspects of bar operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
• Train and mentor bar staff on mixology techniques, presentation, and service standards.
• Train and motivate bar staff to maintain high service standards.
• Foster a positive working environment and uphold hotel policies.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stock control, and minimising wastage.
• Create and curate innovative beverage menus that appeal to diverse guest preferences.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service during events and peak periods.
• Manage budget and cost control, optimising operational efficiency.
• Plan and execute promotional activities and special events to boost bar patronage.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Bar Manager or similar role in upscale hospitality.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of beverage trends and local regulations.
