Job Role: Head Hostess Job Location: Stand-alone restaurant, Yas Mall, Abu Dhabi Reporting Line: General Manager About the role As a Head Hostess at 971 Hospitality LLC, you will use your charm to carry out a natural conversation with Guests without sounding scripted or intrusive. You will demonstrate your effective communication skills, customer service skills and your efficiency as a team player by working closely with the Bar and Dining area team. You will have the opportunity to be part of the best restaurants, bars and pubs and showcase your ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment. We also make sure you have the right support with the right training and leadership along the way. You will attend both external and internal training courses, developing your skills and fine-tuning your food and beverage acumen. About you Ideally, wed love you to have an international exposure in related field or either 2-year experience worked in a stand-alone semi-fine dining restaurant. Main Responsibilities:
Greets guests, escorts them to tables, and provides menus
Manage waiting list and coordinate with Guest Relation Manager
Offer appropriate seating arrangements
Receive and record customers dining reservations
Set up dining rooms and make reservation arrangements
Ensure all orders are filled in a timely and accurate manner
Maintain clean and organized tables and work area
Observe proper grooming and personal hygiene at all times
Assist waiters and head waiters when needed
Ensure all guests receive positive and professional Greeting to the highest standards to exceed the customer's expectations
Handles guest problems and complaints
Manages the Hosts working schedules
Attend all regular departmental briefings and contribute to an open communication within the assigned team
Performs other duties pertinent to this job as assigned.
Ideal Candidate:
Minimum 3 years of experience in similar position in hospitality industry and fine dining concept
Proficient in English communication (written & verbal)
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
Basic computer skills (recommended to have previous experience in restaurant software)
Customer oriented with a positive attitude and smiling face
Friendly and approachable
Cooperative and self-giving team player
Ability and willingness to perform under stress
Positive and high energy level
