As the Head Chef, you will oversee all aspects of the kitchen operations, including menu development, staff management, food quality, and ensuring a high standard of hygiene. You will work closely with our management team to create memorable dining experiences, enhance customer satisfaction, and lead our culinary team to success.
Key Responsibilities
• Menu Creation & Development : Design and update seasonal menus, ensuring a mix of traditional and innovative dishes.
• Team Leadership : Manage, train, and inspire the kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment.
• Inventory Management : Oversee inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure cost-effective stock management.
• Quality Control : Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and taste.
• Health & Safety Compliance : Ensure the kitchen complies with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations at all times.
• Budget Management : Work with the management team to control food costs and optimize kitchen efficiency.
• Customer Satisfaction : Collaborate with the front-of-house team to meet customer expectations and handle feedback professionally.
Qualifications & Skills
• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume kitchen.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to design creative and appealing menus.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of budgeting, food cost control, and stock management.
• Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards.
• A culinary degree or relevant qualification is a plus.
