The head chef, who is also known as the executive chef or chef manager, is someone responsible for all activities in the kitchen. We are looking for an experienced and qualified Head Chef to organize the kitchen's activities. You will be the first in command in the facilities and will create and inspect dishes before they arrive at the customers ensuring high quality and contentment.

The role is made up of many varying responsibilities including:

• Managing and training staff.
• Planning promotional campaigns for new products or specials.
• Ensuring that the Kitchen is kept clean and organized.
• Keeping a record of sales and restocking the store accordingly.
• Mediating any confrontations between staff and clients and de-escalating the situation.

Requirement for Head Chef:

Plan orders of equipment or ingredients according to identified shortages. Order supplies and report to the head of the establishment.

Minimum 1 year's relevant experience.

Order food supplies from designated supplier and maintain food stock as per planning of orders.

Arrange for any repairs or defects in kitchen, report to management for maintenance.

Control and direct food preparation procedures along with all related activities.

Ability to work under pressure, stressful situations and get solutions for the mishaps in kitchen.

General skills Head Chef should possess:

Computer literate.

Ability to communicate well with guests and team members.

Proficient typing skills required.

High level of attention to detail.

Team player qualities.

Enthusiasm to develop your own skills and knowledge.

Adaptability to change and willingness to embrace new ideas and processes.
