About this role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head Chef specializing in Chinese cuisine to lead our kitchen team in a fine-dining restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Chinese culinary traditions, a creative approach to menu development, and a commitment to excellence in food preparation and presentation.

Assistance with relocation will be provided .

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in the hospitality sector.
• Manage and train kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
• Identify opportunities to improve the department's profitability.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with management on menu planning, promotions, and special events.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all safety and sanitation standards.

Requirements

• English language proficiency
• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef specializing in Chinese cuisine.
• Extensive knowledge of traditional and contemporary Chinese cooking techniques and ingredients.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse kitchen team.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Creativity and passion for culinary innovation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure effectively.
